William Boyd Alexander

William “Willie” Boyd Alexander, 58, of Rockwell died unexpectedly at his home on June 17, 2021.

A memorial service honoring Willie's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at New Beginnings Church, 1914 Central Drive, Kannapolis, with Rev. Robert Earnhardt officiating. 

Willie was born April 24, 1963 in Cabarrus Co., a son of the late Henry Boyd Alexander and Carol Tilley Bare. In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his sister, Kelly Alexander and his nephew, Shane Alexander.

He was a life long area resident and attended NorthWest Cabarrus High School. His family considered him a “Jack of All Trades” because he could do a little bit of everything. Willie enjoyed building cars that would out run his brother’s car. He loved going to the mountains and playing cards, particularly Texas Hold’em. He worked until a bad motorcycle accident disabled him. Willie was a loving brother and uncle. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his brother, Steven Alexander of Salisbury and his sister, Jennifer Smith of Kannapolis and his nieces, Virginia Harris and Christi Gasca and nephews, Boyd Alexander, Casey Mowery and Michael Alexander.
