Tyrone Wayne Marlowe

Tyrone Wayne Marlowe Sr., 81, of Kannapolis, took his last breath on earth and his first breath in Heaven, on Monday April 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
He was greeted in heaven by his soulmate of 59 years, Mildred Patricia "Patty" Marlowe.
He was born October 6, 1939 in Rowan County to the late Albert Lee Marlowe and Mary Lee Watkins Marlowe.
Wayne was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He was a faithful bus captain for over 45 years, bringing countless boys and girls to Jesus. He was also a choir member and a deacon. Wayne worked at Cannon Mills for 45+ years. He was an avid fan of the Carolina Tarheels and A.L. Brown Wonders football. He also loved camping, especially in the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Patricia "Patty" Marlowe, a brother Donald Marlowe, and a sister Sylvia Woodard.
Those left to treasure his memory, his children, Tyrone W. Marlowe Jr., Jerry Marlowe (Melissa), Kip Marlowe (Elizabeth), Joy Jones, all of Kannapolis, eight grandchildren; Jeremy Marlowe (Jennifer) of China Grove, Megan Marlowe of China Grove, Kammie Grindstaff (Jeremiah) of Kannapolis, Karana Marlowe of Kannapolis, Kameron Marlowe of TN, Troy Jones of Kannapolis, Bethany Jones of Kannapolis, Aidan Marlowe of Kannapolis, six great grandchildren, Rylan Grindstaff , Titus Grindstaff, Remington Grindstaff, Brantley Marlowe, Cullen Marlowe, and Braiden Coone.
Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church with the Pastor James Pauley officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the church. Burial will be held at 11:00 Am Friday, April 30, 2021 at West Lawn Cemetery.
