Tony Jeff Stack

Tony Jeff Stack, 85, of Kannapolis, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 19, 2022.
Born February 11, 1937 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late James and Bessie Lowder Stack.
Tony was an avid golfer who had two holes in one in his lifetime. He was a longtime member of the former Kannapolis Country Club, now known as the Club at Irish Creek. When he was younger, he enjoyed boating and waterskiing, and working in his yard. Tony and his wife Gayle loved traveling. He enjoyed doing puzzles, doing many 10,000-piece puzzles over the course of the years.
Tony's memory will be cherished by those he left behind including his wife, Gayle Murphy Stack; a son, Todd Stack and wife Lana of McEwen, TN; and two brothers, Ray Dillon Stack and wife Norma of China Grove and Efird Mills Stack of Savannah, GA.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Stack Hill; a brother Donald Stack; and a sister, Mildred Yost.
A graveside service to honor Tony's life will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM, prior to the service at the cemetery. There will be no public viewing.
