Tommy Dale Kirk Sr.

Tommy Dale Kirk Sr., 47, of Salisbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 5, 2020 after a period of declining health.

Tommy was born on May 9, 1973 in Cabarrus County to the late Tommy Lance Kirk and Crystal McClamrock Blackwelder, who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Kirk, and step-father, Steve Blackwelder.
 

Tommy spent his career as a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He will always be remembered for loving to laugh and making others laugh. One of his favorite sayings was “This too shall pass.”

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tommy Kirk Jr., daughter, Danielle Neal; granddaughter, Naomi Kirk; long-time girlfriend, Jacki Gucciardo; mother, Crystal Blackwelder; sister, Amy Blackwelder; aunt, Angie Austin and uncle, Dale McClamrock, and numerous cousins who will all miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2020 at New Beginnings Church, 1914 Central Dr. Kannapolis, NC, 28081
