Timmond “Tim” Hunter, 76, of Kannapolis died Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health.
His family will receive friends at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, July 3 followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Carolina Memorial Park with Rev. James Pauley officiating.
Tim was born November 4, 1944 in Cabarrus Co., a son of the late Perry and Nettie Mae McIntire Hunter. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Hunter.
He is survived by his Four daughters; Lisa Hunter Graham, Julie Hunter and Bobbie Hunter, all of Kannapolis and Tracy Hunter Goodman (Chad) of Rockwell; six grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, Kailey, Madisyn, Kaiden, Luke and his two brothers; Henry Hunter (Barbara) and Gene Hunter, both of Kannapolis.
Tim was a life-long area resident and long-time member of Faith Baptist Church. He attended A.L. Brown Highschool. Tim drove a truck for Harris Teeter for many years. He enjoyed old cars, riding his motorcycle and fishing at the coast. Tim loved his family and enjoyed taking trips to Florida with them. He will be deeply missed.
