Suzanne (Nelson) Dunn

Suzanne Nelson Dunn of Beaverdam, VA passed away on October 19, 2022 from complications of cancer.

Suzanne was born on August 18, 1954 to Fred and Yvonne Nelson. After graduation she married and had a son Chad Justin Kirk in 1975.

Since childhood she loved horses and kept horses her entire life. She started riding and showing at open shows and ended at the Congress and World championship show then continued to breed champion bloodline show horses after her showing career as a breeder.

Suzanne started a career with UPS and worked there to get a retirement. She then went to work with USPS and worked her way up to Program Manager and International mail security.  She was 2 years away from her second retirement.

Suzanne was predeceased by her mother Yvonne; her father Fred and her brother Freddie. She is survived by her son,  Justin; her granddaughter Alexis, and her sister Jean and Baxter Sterling.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, 1PM at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC.
