Sharon Rose (King) Caskey

Sharon Rose King Caskey, 68, of Kannapolis surrounded by family, stepped into

the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

She was born June 16, 1952 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late James and

Pansy King. She was preceded in death by her loving brother Terry “Mose” King.

Sharon worked for EDS/Banc Tec, INC for 29 years as their administrative

assistant. She was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. Sharon loved

being retired because it gave her time to do the things she loved and spend time

with her friends, cousins, and her loving family. She loved her yearly July 4th beach

trip, going to Boone to see her granddaughters, and going to football games to

cheer on the ASU Mountaineers. She cherished every moment spent with her

family but what she loved most was spending time with “her girls”. She was

always their #1 cheerleader in everything they did.

Sharon is survived by her husband Roger, daughter Crystal Overcash (Jason),

grandchildren, Emilee and Abby Leopard, sister Malia Cobb (Jamie), and brother J.

Wayne King (Dale).

Due to COVID concerns, her service is private to family and close friends. All

attending must wear masks and practice social distancing. Those who can’t attend

can watch through the church’s website at www.facebook.com/FHBCKannapolis. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Franklin Heights Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Curtis Parker and Danny Benton. Her family will receive friends prior from 12:30 to 1:45 PM at church. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
