Shannon Harvey Nelson

Shannon Harvey Nelson, 51, of Kannapolis, passed away at home Wednesday August 17, 2022 after a period of declining health. Born in Indiana he was the son of Sharon Hurst Nelson and the late Theodore Ray Nelson.
Shannon was a diverse individual. He loved tinkering around in the garage, was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, working with electronics and techie stuff in general.
His memory will be cherished by those he left behind, including his mother, Sharon Hurst Nelson; sisters, Sherri Rae Nelson and Sheila Brunelle and husband Michel; his brother, Teddy Shane Nelson; nieces, Anastasia, Casandra, Tabitha, and Tiffany; nephews, Anthony Dustin, Shawn, Mitchell, and Justin; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Aside from his father, Shannon was preceded in death by a nephew, Alexander.
Services at a later date will be private and at the convenience of the family.
