Scott Monroe Measimer

Scott Monroe Measimer, 55 of Kannapolis passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Scott was born April 1, 1967 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of Daniel Monroe Measimer, Jr. of Concord and the late Sandra Kay Clayton Measimer.

He was of the Baptist Faith. Scott was self-employed in building maintenance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Surviving family in addition to his father include his wife of 33 years, Angela Stirewalt Measimer of the home, three sons; Justin Measimer, Casey Measimer and Guy “Dylan” Measimer and wife Destiney all of Kannapolis. One brother, Ronald Measimer of Concord and a sister Windy Measimer also of Concord and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first grandchild, Beau, who is due to arrive in January.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dennis Craft. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday until the time of the service.
