Saundra (Coone) Sehorn

Saundra Coone Sehorn, 75,  went to be home with her Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from her home after years of declining health.  Saundra was born January 3, 1945 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Rufus E. Coone and Margaret King Coone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Wayne Sehorn, sister, JoAnne Coone Tilley, sister-in-law, Helen Moss Coone and mother-in-law, Francis Holder Eller.

Saundra was employed by Cannon Mills for 32 years. She overedged washcloths in the washcloth department. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She loved to plant flowers and work in her house. Most of all, she loved her Lord and family.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Curtis Parker.  Her family will greet family afterwards.

She is survived by her 4 children, Denise Basinger St. Claire (Randy), Dwaine Basinger (Debbie), Jeff Basinger, Michelle Linton (fiancé, Tim Plott), 4 grandchildren, Lane Basinger Pence (Dustin), Ryan Linton, Erin Basinger and Breezi Basinger, 2 step grandchildren, Alicia McKenzie (Rick) and Kristen Ressler (Nick), great grandchild, Rylan Linton, step great grandchildren, Taylor Holmes, Rachel Holmes and Caleb Ressler and her brother, Gregory Coone.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Marie Garmon for being such a wonderful caregiver and friend to our Mom and family.
