Salvatore LaCivita Obituary

Salvatore Louis LaCivita, 76, of Kannapolis, went into eternal rest on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Salvatore was born on April 3, 1943 in East Walpole, Massachusetts to the late Louis LaCivita and Columbia Grosso.

Salvatore honorably served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a strong man who was always optimistic and positive. He was a man of all trades and a self-employed entrepreneur. He loved to travel the world with his dear wife, Bette, by his side. He was a family man. The two most precious things in the world to him were his wife and daughter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 46 years, Elizabeth “Bette” LaCivita; daughter, Teri LaCivita, and three sisters, Annie Johnson of NH, Mary Lou Silva and husband Joseph Silva of MA and Shirley Ord and husband Bill Ord of TN.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Whitley’s Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
