Ruth May Lydick Brawley, 75, of Concord, transitioned from her earthly body to her spiritual body September 4, 2022.
Ruth was born in Massachusetts July 22, 1947. She spent her working years in the banking industry. Ruth did everything with her heart. She enjoyed helping people, having fundraisers, even adopting families for Christmas giving.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Brawley; her daughter, Rachael Brawley of Concord; a granddaughter, Alonna Allman of Concord; a sister, Bertha Dezutter of MA; and two brothers, Roger and Herbert Lydick of MA.
There will be no formal services for Ruth.
She was a woman of faith and this was a prayer she wrote on her birthday a few years back the family wishes to share. "Dear God, thank you for the best birthday ever. Thank you for my family and my friends. Take away the pain I suffer. In the name of Jesus, Amen."
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses, Tiffany, Katie, Olivia and Maureen of Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County and also special thanks to friends and family for their help and support during this difficult time.
The family respectfully requests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
