Rufus Monrow Cauble

Rufus Monrow Cauble, 88 of Kannapolis, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2022 at The Tucker Hospice House.

He was born September 1, 1933 in Cabarrus County. to the late Jacob Monroe Cauble and Esther Cauble.

Rufus was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Korean War, he later retired from Fiber in Salisbury, he enjoyed clogging, hunting and fishing, and he loved NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and also a son Mike Bigham.

Those left to cherish his memory, daughter Pam Daugherty, sisters Betty Lou Hubbard and Mary Ella Hammonds, one granddaughter Angel Craft.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bobby Seymore officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, August 22, at Whitley's Funeral Home.
