Robert "Robbie" Dean Wagner

Robert “Robbie” Dean Wagner of Salisbury, NC went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2023.
The family will receive friends at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis, Saturday March 18th from 6:00-8:00. A graveside service will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park in Landis on Monday March 20th at 2:00. Bro. Billy Sechrist will be speaking at the graveside. All are welcome to attend.
Robbie was born January 20, 1956 in Salisbury to the late Walter H. Wagner and Olene W. Wagner. He was a member of West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell, NC. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as, gardening, fishing, restoring old cars (mainly mustangs), and going to car shows. Robbie loved the Lord and his life was a testimony of his faith. God chose to take Robbie home on a special day. March 16th, 2023 which was John 3:16 day. This has a special meaning to the family because John 3:16 was Robbie’s favorite Bible verse. God allowed Robbie to have a part in witnessing of God’s love, not only through his 5 years with cancer, but also at his passing.
Robbie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terri Carpenter Wagner
Two children and four amazing grandchildren: Joshua Wagner and wife, Channing Nathan and Seth Wagner of Salisbury, NC. Aliesha Morgan and husband, Brandon, Ethan and Alyssa Morgan of Salisbury NC
Brothers: Rickey Wagner and wife Teressa of Salisbury
Randy Wagner and wife Melissa of Rockwell
Donald Wagner of Fletcher, NC who passed in December of 2021
Sisters: Darlene Johnson and husband Robert of Rockwell
Brenda Hege and husband Van of Winston-Salem
And numerous nieces and nephews which he loved dearly.
