Robert Lee Trull

Robert Lee Trull,87 of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Death was unexpected.

Robert was born February 19, 1936, in Cabarrus County, N.C.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church, Kannapolis. He was a long and short haul truck driver retiring after 60 years of service.

He thoroughly enjoyed watching western movies.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Chuck Overcash. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service at the family plot in St. Martin’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 5469 NC Hwy. 200, Concord, NC 28025.

Family members preceding him in death include his wife of 60 years, Shirley Jean Severt Trull who died in 2016 and a daughter Brenda Kee, along with three grandchildren.

Family members left to cherish his memory include four sons; Bob (Dawana) of China Grove, Ron (Jeanie) of Concord, Terry (Angie) of Concord,  and John (Susan) of Concord. Also surviving is a daughter, Donna Lackey of Kannapolis and a son in law, Billy Kee. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

The family would like to mention a special friend Julia Griffin who was a great help to Robert.
