Robert Lake Obituary

Robert Earl Lake, 63, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte following a short illness.

Robert was born March 15, 1958 in Wayne Co, Ohio, a son of the late Earl Edgar Lake and June Louise Easton Lake. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Edwards and Pat Schlabh.

Robert grew up in Shreve, Ohio. He was a man who could fix anything. He enjoyed attending car shows. He later was a warehouse manager working for construction companies

The family will schedule a service of remembrance at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gowdy Lake of the home, a step-daughter, Elizabeth Patrick of Kannapolis, step-son, Benjamin Patrick of Kannapolis, step-daughter, Melissa Patrick of Shreve, Ohio, step-daughter Shana Trubey Patrick of Dublin, California, one son Jason Lake and wife Jen of Fredericksburg, Ohio, four grandchildren with another expected shortly.
