Robert William Cline

Robert “Bob” William Cline, 75, of Concord, passed away Tuesday evening, December 21, 2020, at Tucker Hospice House, following a period of declining health.

Born November 5, 1945, in Cabarrus County, he was a son of the late Clarence William Cline and Netta Smith Cline, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Cline had retired from industrial supply sales and had been an active member of Parkwood Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday school member. He had also passionately volunteered for the Special Olympics.  Robert loved all of his family, NASCAR, golfing, fishing and had a special love for his Yorkie-Poo, Abby. Although in a much better place today, Mr. Cline will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. For he has now heard "Well done, thy good and faithful servant."  

Loving family members include his devoted wife of 55 years, Patsy Fite Cline; his brother, Randy Cline (Susan); sister, Barbara Kirkland; sister-in-law, Carolyn Harwood (Johnny); his brother-in-law, Michael Fite (Terri); 2 nieces; 3 nephews; and 2 great-nephews.

Funeral services to remember, celebrate and give thanks for the life of Mr. Cline will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Parkwood Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Michael Waters, pastor.  Burial will be private.  Mr. Cline will lie in state in the church sanctuary from 1:00-2:00 for anyone wishing to view.  However, due to Covid-19 concerns, the family will not be present and ask that you please practice standard precautions during this time.
