Richard Henry Marois

Richard Henry Marois, 91, of Winston - Salem, NC, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 after a period of declining health. Born August 18, 1929 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Elzer Marois and Janette Roy Parker.

Richard served his country more than honorably in the United States Army. During his working years, he worked as a journeyman electrician with IBEW, Local #58, of Detroit, MI.

He is survived by his daughter and caretaker, Phyllis Marois Lemmon and husband Barry of Winston Salem, NC; two sons, Ronald Marois and wife Dena of Lehigh Acres, FL and Richard P. Marois of Plymouth, MI; five grandchildren, Joshua Marois of Michigan, Brandi Marois of Michigan, Bethany Lemmon Lukens of Massachussetts, Nathaniel Lemmon of Delaware, and Jared Lemmon of North Carolina; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor his life and his service to the country he loved will be held Friday October 30, 2020 at 1:00PM at Salisbury National Cemetery.
