Phillip Glenn Dellinger, 86, of Kannapolis, N.C. passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Atrium Cabarrus. He was the son of the late Curtis and Jettie Dellinger. Phillip owned the Rowan Pawn Shop in Kannapolis for many years. He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with nature and the outdoors. Phillip loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Phillip is preceded in death by his wife Violet Christine Teal Dellinger, daughter, June Dellinger, grandson, Caleb Irvin, brother, Arlie Dellinger, sister, Betty Love and Velma Mason. Those left the cherish his memories are, daughters Philda, (Jack) Bostic, Amy (Tim) Lind, Tammy, (Mark) Bringle, Leslie, (Keith) Fink, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Dellinger will be at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. officiated by Pastor David Franks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
