Philip Lorrie Boehm

Philip Lorrie Boehm, 64, of Kannapolis, NC raised in Virginia Beach passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Philip was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Gary Boehm and Joan Boehm. Brother of Cynthia Hennen, Kim Glaser, and Gary Boehm Jr.

Philip worked at McDonald’s where he met his beloved wife of 45 wonderful years, Ann Wilkerson. After the birth of his daughters Anna and Janice, he began his journey of delivering for Budweiser. Ronnie Heath led him to Christ and a new journey began serving the Lord. Shortly after, his daughter Victoria and son Timothy were born where he spent most of his years with Circuit City. As a loving father of 4 children, he was blessed with 4 grandchildren Jordan, Riley, Kaitlyn, and Avery Boehm. During his retirement in 2019, his time was spent with his family going to his favorite restaurants, drinking coffee, gardening, and watching sports. He loved Nascar, Legends races in the summer, Vikings in the fall, and Hurricanes in the winter. He loved building shelves out of scraps for the house, tree houses, and a ship out of pallets for his grandbabies.

The family will receive family and friends at noon for viewing. Service at 1 pm on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Whitley's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2 pm at Carolina Memorial Park.
