Patrice Brown Obituary

Patrice Marie Conley Brown, 70, of Concord, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a short battle with cancer.

Patrice was born on March 10, 1951 in Broome County, New York to the late Martin Conley and Virginia Rutledge Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Conley; grandson, Dakoda Galusha, and granddaughter, Brionna Galusha.

Patrice was a simple woman who lovingly cared for her family above all. She dearly cherished the time she spent seeing and talking with family. She also enjoyed NASCAR racing and cooking.

Those left to cherish her memory include her life partner of over 30 years, Fred Ford; five sons, John (Tracy) Galusha, Brett (Deborah) Galusha, Scott (Kristy) Galusha, Roger (Tonya) Brown, and Daniel Brown; step-sons, David (Michelle) Ford and Daniel Ford; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Mickey) Galusha.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in New York at a later date.
