Oscar D Bowers

Oscar D Bowers, 91, of Kannapolis died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health. Per Oscars wishes, no public services will be held at this time.

Born December 24, 1929 in Stanly Co.; Oscar was the son of the late Claude and Ruth Hopkins Bowers. Oscar was a lifelong area resident and was of the Baptist faith. He worked hard all his life starting at an early age. He was a long distance trucker, driving for Johnson Motor Lines until he retired.

Oscar was survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Lou Treece Bowers; his sons, Eddie Wayne Bowers (Kaye) and Michael Dee Bowers, all of Kannapolis, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
