Octavia Trejo Muñoz

Octavia Trejo Muñoz, 81, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

Octavia was born on January 13, 1940 in Tlahuiltepa, Mexico to the late Lucas Trejo and Guadalupe Munoz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Evelio Medina Ramirez in 2004.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Ruben (Tammy) Ramirez and Arturo (Naira) Ramirez; two daughters, Maria (Saul) Acosta and Enedina (Nicolas) De La Cruz; 12 grandchildren, Arturo Ramirez Jr., Alondra Ramirez, Yesenia Ramirez, Amelia Ramirez, Andrew Ramirez, Stephanie Acosta, Michelle Acosta, Alex Acosta, Nicholas De La Cruz Ramirez, Jennifer De La Cruz Ramirez, Tania Ramirez and Ariana Ramirez; three great-grandchildren, Zackary Ramirez, Genesis Soto and  Landon Navas.

A prayer service and visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home. Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Park.
