Norma Gaye Bodeis

Gaye Bodeis, 68, of Kannapolis passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. She was born January 20, 1953 in Ashe Co. to the late Clarence and Trevia Sullivan Graham.
Gaye worked for more than twenty years at Eckerd Drugs. She enjoyed gardening, being outside, and was a very loyal QVC shopper. Family was very important to her. Her most cherished moments were those spent doing fun activities with her grandchildren/great-grandchildren, and playing cards with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by a sister Bobbie Hammett, and a brother Roger Graham.
Those left to cherish her memory are her soul mate Richard Wagner of Kannapolis, sisters Clara Kyles (Floyd) of Salisbury, and Polly Jones (Randy) of Kannapolis, daughters Kenda Lambert (Tommy) of Kannapolis, and Leigh Hunter (Chip) of Kannapolis,  Amy Worley (Nathan) and son Andrew Wagner (Karen); grandchildren Whitney Quarles (Jared), Bethany Cruse (Trevor) Austin Lambert (Tania), Duke Hunter (Sarah), Savannah Hunter, Carley Hunter, Alex Hunter, Kane Wagner, Alex Helms, and Jonathan Helms, great grandchildren; Axel Lambert, Liam Quarles, Eli Cruse, Lyla Rose Hunter, and Landon Quarles.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 26 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Coleman officiating, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 PM Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
