Mildred "Patty" Marlowe

Mildred Patricia “Patty” Marlowe, 74, of Kannapolis was ushered into Heaven Tuesday January 14, 2020. Born May 10, 1945 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred Teague Harris.

During her working years, Patty was employed at Cannon Mills and later at Faith Nursery School.

Patty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Wayne Marlowe; three sons, Tyrone W. Marlowe, Jr, Jerry G. Marlowe and wife Melissa, and Kip T. Marlowe and wife Elizabeth, all of Kannapolis; a daughter, Joy M. Jones of Kannapolis; a sister Phyllis Berryman of Kannapolis; a brother Gordon Harris and wife Jane of Kannapolis; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Marlowe, Kammie Grindstaff, Megan Marlowe, Kameron Marlowe, Aidan Marlowe, Karana Marlowe, Troy Jones and Bethany; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday January 16, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church, 904 Chipola Street, Kannapolis. Rev. James Pauley will officiate. Interment will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 17, 2020 West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at the church.
