Michael Ernest Agner

Michael “Mike” Ernest Agner, 69, of China Grove, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born on July 29, 1952 in Cabarrus County to the late William Ernest Agner and Ida Bell Roberts Agner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ashley Agner.

Mike retired as a Highway Building Inspector for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He also previously worked for KCA. He faithfully attended Harmony United Methodist Church in Concord.  He absolutely loved his corvettes over the years and also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed taking trips to North Myrtle Beach. Most of all, he dearly loved his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his girlfriend, Jeanie Measmer; daughter, Stephanie Beaver, and two grandchildren, Braxton Beaver and Brinleigh Beaver.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
