Mary "Babe" (Menius) Godfrey

Mary"Babe" Menius Godfrey, 91, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at her residence.

Mary was born on September 12, 1930, in Cabarrus Co., a cherished daughter of the late Thomas Lucky Menius and Mary Elizabeth Strube Menius. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Menius, JC Menius, and Johnny Menius; sisters, Margaret Lentz, Ruth Clark kerley, and Maude Rumple.

Her niece Carolyn Tucker would like to thank Bea Hinson and Millie Fink for their loving care in coordinating all caregiving.

A graveside service to honor her memory will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, Rev. Keith Pisani will be officiating the service.
