Mary Allen Obituary

Ms. Mary Frances Allen, of Kannapolis passed away at her home April 19, 2021 at the age of 63.

Ms. Allen was born December 10, 1957 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Joseph Preston and Jessie Pearl Garner Allen. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Eugene Allen, James Andrew Allen, and Layron Michael “Mike” McMillian, and sister, Kimberly Sue Allen Russ.

Mary was a 1976 graduate of A. L. Brown High School, Kannapolis and spent her life in the area. She worked for many years with Cannon Mills, A & S taxi, and as a security guard. She loved the Lord, her dog Snuggles, and talking with her long-time and dear friends, Kym, Susan, and Alma.

She is survived by her brother, Donnie Allen of Catawba, SC; nephew, Layron Micheal Russ and her niece, Kimberly Michelle Russ, both of Kannapolis.
