Martha Jane (Pope) Brown

Martha Jane Pope Brown, 52, of Rockwell, passed away, January 11, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Born December 23, 1969 in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Jimmie and Betty Limburg Pope.

Martha is survived by her son Buddy Brown of Rockwell; a sister Betsy Pope of Florida; and a cousin Bobby Limburg of Loudon, TN. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Holmes Brown in October 2015.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday January 25, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 25, prior to the service at Whitley's.

Burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
