Marcus Steven Mangrum

Marcus Steven Mangrum, 67 of Concord went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Northeast Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born November 20, 1953 in Ouachita Parrish, La. A son of the late Robert and Mary Kirkland Mangrum.

Marcus was a veteran serving with the US Air Force serving in Southeast Asia with eight years of service. He was a Licensed commercial pilot, and scuba diver. He was employed as a mortgage banker and credit collector. He had an avid sense of humor and always said that He would like to be remembered as a jack of all trades and a master of none.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date to honor Marcus.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly Mangrum, one son, Jason Mangrum and wife M.J. of Murfreesboro, Tn. a daughter Jessica Stanley of Fountain Inn, S.C. and four grandchildren; Ariel Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Emma Rogers and Naomi Rogers.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-7023.
