Lyle Ronald Goodman

Lyle Ronald Goodman, 75 of Concord went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus following a short illness.

He was born April 8, 1946 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Ray Huge Goodman and Katherine Arnoldlee Rayfield Goodman. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sabrina Denise Goodman and two brothers, Ray Huge Goodman who is survived by his wife Brenda of Stewart, Fla. And Terry Wayne Goodman who is survived by his wife Carolyn of Concord.

Lyle was a dedicated member of Holy Power Church in Rockwell. He loved attending church and playing his guitar and singing. He retired from Thompson Industries.

Lyle dearly loved the outdoors and was a dedicated hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband and father.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Bill Cutshaw. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence. Interment will follow in West Concord Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Dianne Johnson Goodman, two sons; Mark Bronson Goodman and Chad Eric Goodman both of Troutman, two grandchildren, Justin Michael Goodman and Austin Lane Hollar along with three three great grand-grandchildren., Grayland Goodman, Hayden Goodman and Kayden Hollar. He is also survived by a sister, Brenda (Jerri) Spradley and husband Bill of Norwood and a brother, David Goodman and wife Carol of Newport, NC.
