Lonnie Mack Lowder Mack Lowder

Lonnie Mack Lowder, 78, of Concord passed away July 23, 2019. He was born July 17, 1941 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Robley Newman Lowder and Ethel Rose Roberts Lowder. He was preceded in death by brothers, Horace, Dwight, Jake, Leonard and sisters, Melvia Helms and Josephine Blackwelder. 

Lonnie is survived by his daughters, Pamela Hampton and Julie Mattern (Doug). He had one grandson, Matthew Lowder; and four great grandchildren, Payton Lowder, Matthew Lowder II, Maddison Lowder and Mason Lowder. He is also survived by brothers, Gerald Lowder, George Lowder , Tommy Lowder and a sister, Loraine Raymer. 

Lonnie had worked at Bangle Brothers Hosiery and Shogren Industries for many years. He was a veteran of US Air Force. Lonnie loved to go fishing and camping. He was also an avid sports fan. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Concord Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2141 NC-49, Concord, NC 28025 officiated by Pastor Scottie Deal. 

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
