Lisa Ann Petrey

Lisa Ann Petrey, 46, of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa was born on October 29, 1973 in Pennsylvania to the late Sharon Tanner. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Compton.

Lisa worked as a Restaurant Manager at Glenn’s BBQ in Kannapolis. She was very creative and enjoyed making beaded jewelry and crocheting. She also loved gardening flowers and especially loved roses. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her fiancé, Andrew Bradford. Together they would go on vacations in Charleston, SC, go to car shows, and work on cars at Andrew’s shop.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Andrew Bradford; daughter, Alicia Compton and fiancé, Jesse Poole; son, Dillon Thomas; four grandchildren, Kaden, Addison, Makayla, and Wyatt, and dear friend, Mary Bradford.

A memorial service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating. The family will speak with friends after the service.
