Laura Jane Deaver Jackson, age 62 of Salisbury entered fully into the presence of our Lord on Friday, November 25th. Laura fought many battles with her health and was a two time breast cancer survivor. Born on May 30, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Virginia (Blackwelder) Deaver. Her career allowed her to make many friends and support many people along the way.  Laura loved the Lord and she enjoyed worshipping Him at Landmark Church. She was blessed with a beautiful voice, so she shared her talent by singing in the choir where she was given many solos. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved spending time with her greatest joy, her granddaughter Hattie Jane.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Rick Jackson of Salisbury; son John Jackson and wife Rachel of Salisbury; brothers Bill Deaver and wife Linda and Kevin Deaver and wife Karen all of China Grove; granddaughter Hattie Jane Jackson; niece Kelli Deaver Bostian and husband Eric of Kannapolis; great niece Kaitlyn Nicole Bostian; sister-in-laws Donna Graham and husband Rick and Judy Isenhour, all of Salisbury.
