Larry Gene Mosley

Larry Gene Mosley, 72, of Kannapolis passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Novant Rowan Medical Center. He was born October 14, 1948 in Mecklenburg County, a son of the late William Henry Mosley and Zada Ruth Lee Mosley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Mosley in 2014, and two brothers, Randy Mosley and Danny Mosley.

Larry retired from S&D Coffee where he was a manager for many years. He enjoyed going to the beach, playing golf and spending time with his family.

Larry’s family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home with a service to follow in Whitley’s Chapel at 1:00 PM officiated by Rev. Don Jarrell.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Meleisa Trotter Yow and husband, Kenny and their children, Kyndl Yow and Holdon Yow and Michelle Trotter Doby and partner, Sadie Rose and their children, Joshua Doby and wife, Skyla, Tola and Courtney Rose, Daaron Presnell, and great grandchildren, Caysen and Collins Doby.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
