Kristen Marie Goodwin

Kristen Marie Goodwin, 25 of Columbia, SC, and formerly of Kannapolis passed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on June 18, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Born July 31, 1995 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of Kevin Joseph and Tina Elaine Chapman Goodwin.

Kristen, a 2013 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus really enjoyed the outdoors, especially kayaking, cave mining, camping and hiking.

Aside from her parents, Kristen is survived by a sister, Emily Nichole James of Concord: two nieces, Sparrow and Phoebe; a nephew, Asa; maternal grandmother, Doris Chapman; paternal grandmother, Nelda Goodwin; and two aunts, Dana Chapman and Gina Paige (Wayne).

Visitations will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. -  6:00 p.m. Saturday June 19, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis 28083.

A memorial service to honor Kristen’s life will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday June 26, 2021 at River Rock at Odell Baptist Church, 6320 Davidson Highway, Concord, NC 28027
