Joyce Elaine (Creasman) Hall

Joyce Elaine Creasman Hall, 84, of China Grove, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at her residence.

Joyce was born August 22, 1937 in Buncombe Co. She was a cherished daughter of the late James Creasman and Winona McKinney Creasman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Vance Spencer Hall Sr., and grandson, James William Clifton Jr.

Joyce spent her career working as an office manager for Novant Heart and Vascular. She was along time member of Eastwood Baptist Church and enjoyed to sing in the choir. NASCAR was her favorite sport and she never missed a race. She loved to cheer on Bobby Allison; who was her all-time favorite driver. Joyce loved to go shopping and take trips to Gatlinburg. Being raised in Asheville her heart was always in the mountains. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Pam Burgess (George) of Salisbury, Sandy Dee Hall of China Grove, Sherry Harris of China Grove, her son Vance Spencer Hall Jr. (Lisa) of Richfield; grandchildren, David Crabill, Parris Clark, Elaine Clifton, Anna Hahn, Butch Harris, Michael Harris, Kari Harris, Patricia Hall, Krystal Castillo, Vance S. Hall III, Eric Hall, Hunter Hall, Bricen Hall, twenty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Swepton.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Eastwood Baptist in Kannapolis with the Rev. Randall Ritchie officiating. Visitation will be held 30 mins prior at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery - 2 Cypress Dr, Asheville, NC 28803
