Josephine (McBrayer) Wells

Josephine (Jo) McBrayer Wells, 89, of Kannapolis passed away on July 19, 2021. She was born June 16, 1932 in Munition,  West Virginia, a daughter of the late Howard and Effie McBrayer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bervil Wells and a son, Jerry Lee Miller.

Josephine was a faithful member of God’s Church of Faith. She was a Godly woman that loved her Lord and Saviour.

Funeral services will be at  2:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2021 at God’s Church of Faith officiated by Rev. Jeff Upright. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from  6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Whitley’s Funeral Home.

Josephine is survived by her children, Sharon Miller Brigman (Darrell) of Kannapolis, Lisa Wicker (Ronnie) of Dublin, GA, Ronnie Wells (Patti) of Front Royal, VA, Doug Wells (Lynette) of Eatonton, GA, sisters, Betty Kesterson of Belpre, Ohio and Mary Waters of McConnelsville, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and daughters-in-law, Judy Blazek and Cindy Smith.
