Joseph “Joe” Richard Mullinax, 45, of Salisbury died at his home on June 4, 2021. His death was unexpected.
Private burial of cremains has taken place at the National Cemetery in Salisbury and a memorial service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at 1st Reformed Church in Landis at 12:30 PM Saturday July 3rd..
Joe was born July 6, 1975 in Cabarrus Co. NC, the son of the late James Richard Mullinax and Mrs. Jessica “Diane” Blinson Mullinax of Kannapolis.
A lifelong area resident, Joe graduated from NW Cabarrus High School and he was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was a machine operator for Trelleborg Prodyn Inc. in Salisbury, making brake shoes for the automotive industry. Joe loved spending time with his daughters Cameron and Chloe playing trivia games or quizzing them on who sang what song. He was an avid music and movie lover and knew most artist in both!
He will be dearly missed.
Those remaining to cherish Joe’s memory include his mother, Diane Blinson Mullinax of Kannapolis, his daughters, Cameron and Chloe Mullinax, his sister, Lisa Snider (Brent) of Kannapolis and his niece, Cassidy Snider and his nephew, Walker Snider.
