Jerry Gullette

Jerry Wayne Gullette, 78, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Bethamy Retirement Center.

Jerry was born on November 23, 1944 in Cabarrus County. He was a cherished son of the late Lewis Gullette Jr., and Margie Cobbler Gullette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Joyce Cleaver Gullette and daughter -in-law, Betsy Gullette.

Jerry spent his career working as a truck driver. After retiring Jerry enjoyed taking trips to his son, Dennis's shop to play with Diesel, the dog. Jerry loved attending actions on Friday and Saturday nights. He also liked to work on lawn mowers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Kenneth Gullette (Sue), Dennis Gullette, Cynthia Medlin (Randy), Debbie Gullette; step- children, Wanda Williams (Greg), Kathy Carter, Lisa Shinn, and Lisa Herlocker (Tony), and Anthony Carter; he was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald Gullette (Debbie).

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Faith Baptist church in Kannapolis. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM following visitation at the Church with Rev James Pauley officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
