Jeremy Lynn Forstrom

Jeremy Lynn Forstrom, 49, of China Grove, went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2022 after an extended illness.

Jeremy was born on November 10, 1972 in Lincoln County, Oregon.

Jeremy was a proud graduate of The Citadel where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He spent his career in banking for the past 20 years. He was a very active and long-time member of Fusion City Church where he served in the production ministry. He was an intelligent, witty, and funny man who always knew how to make people laugh. In his free time, he enjoyed going camping. Above all, he dearly loved his family and cherished spending time with them.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 17 years, Jamie Lackey Forstrom; four children, Dylan (Courtney) Lackey, Taylor (Patrick) Jester, Peyton Forstrom, Abigail Forstrom; three grandchildren, Tucker Jester, Dawson Jester, and Paisley Lackey; parents, William Jon Forstrom and Tana Jones Forstrom; brother, Kyle (Rachael) Forstrom; sister, Layne Forstrom, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at He’s Alive Church in Kannapolis. A celebration of life service will follow and begin at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium of He’s Alive Church with Pastor Brian Duncan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial’s in Jeremy’s name may be made to Fusion City Church, 101 YMCA Drive, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
