Jennie (Jacobs) Lingerfelt

Jennie Jacobs Lingerfelt, 83, of Kannapolis, passed away December 2, 2019 at CMC-NE.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday December 5, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Barber officiating; burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Prior to the service at the church.

She was born May 16, 1936 in Cheraw, SC to the late Julius Covington Jacobs and Grace G. Davis Jacobs.

Jennie was a supervisor at Cannon Mills for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed camping in the mountains, her flowers and house plants, and Diet Mt. Dew, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gene Lingerfelt Sr. and two daughters Tammy Lefler and Beverly Eury.

Those left to cherish her memory; son Robert Lingerfelt Jr. (Dayla) of Salisbury, daughter Gina Milam (Johnny) of Kannapolis, seven grandchildren; Nikki Workman, Whitney Langley, Adyson Raper, Erika Milam, Robert Lefler, Jennie Lefler,  Dylan Milam,  five great grandchildren and also her fur baby Major.

Memorials may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 1785 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
