Jeannette Holshouser

Jeannette Holshouser, 73, of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Jeannette was an avid animal lover, and especially loved dogs. She enjoyed drinking Cheerwine and Coca-Cola, as well as spending time with her family. Her great-grandson was her pride and joy.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jonathan Holshouser and his fiancé, Jennifer Correa; great-grandchild Levi Holshouser; her youngest brother, Buddy Holshouser (Twanda); her middle sister, Mollie Toombs (David); and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her late parents, Flossie and Fred Holshouser; and her daughter, Shirley Ann Barnes.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

After services in Virginia, a visitation will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, NC on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.
