Jay Franklin Gray

Jay Franklin Gray, 87 of Mooresville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home.

He was born February 28, 1933 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Marvin Cleveland Gray and Elsie Barbee Gray.

Jay worked for Cannon Mills for 45 years until his retirement. He was a car enthusiast from pickup trucks to corvettes. He was a member of Unity United Methodist Church, and liked watching the services online the past few months.

He was preceded in death by three sisters; Ruth Roberts, Annie Ford, and Colleen Faggart.

Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Geraldeane Gray, son Kenneth Gray and wife Debbie of Mooresville, sister-in-law Betty Willis, brother-in-law Joe Dunlap and wife Johnsie.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
