Janice Marilyn (Carrouth) Lynch

Janice Marilyn Carrouth Lynch, 79, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday evening, November 7, 2020, at Accordius of Concord.

Born November 28, 1940, in York, SC, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Lynch, and a step-son, Tony Lee Lynch.

Mrs. Lynch had been a loyal employee of Cannon Mills for more than 40 years, prior to its’ closing.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church o Westover, where she loved attending services.  A devoted wife and step mother, she loved all of her family, loved her Lord and her church family. Although Mrs. Lynch is now in her eternal home, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loving family members include her step-daughter, Kathy Brackett (Denny); grandsons, Tommy and James Brackett; her great-grandson, Jacob Brackett, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Saturday, November 14th at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Lynch will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Pastor Ronnie Brown.  Mrs. Lynch will be placed with her husband at Carolina Memorial Park at a later date.
