Jamin Michael Hodge

Jamin Michael Hodge, 28 years old, unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord Saturday, February 13, 2021. He is the son of Steve Hodge and Sherry Ross Johnson.

Jamin was a loving son, father, cousin, nephew, and friend. He had a “big heart” and the most important thing about Jamin was he knew Jesus Christ and was not ashamed to share the gospel with anybody and everybody! Jamin and his fiancé Nancy Espinoza have a beautiful baby boy, Levi Daniel Hodge, 2 years old. “Levi is a miracle from God.” Jamin graduated high school from JM Robinson in Concord in 2011 and he was currently employed at Mavis Tire and Brakes. He was a hard worker and really enjoyed his job and his co-workers. Jamin enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling out, fishing, and going to the beach. He was also an avid Carolina Panther fan.

 Jamin is survived by his parents Steve Hodge and Sherry Ross Johnson, Step father Darrin Johnson, brother Ramon Gonzalez and his wife Ansleigh Gonzalez, grandmother Patricia Rose Bruce and husband Tom Bruce, Uncle Randy Ross, Uncle David Hodge and wife Jill Hodge, Aunt Susan Hodge Thomas, Aunt Bette Hodges, Cousins Alex Thomas, William Thomas, Bill Hodge (Alexa) and Lauren Hodge Davis (Ben); nephew Julien Gonzalez, step siblings, Kevin Johnson, Kayla Sullivan, Nathan Johnson, and Alex Johnson.

Jamin is preceded in death by grandparents Dan and Joanne Hodge and Rowdy Randy Ross. Jamin loved his preacher Bryn Waddell and City Revival Church. Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis, will have the funeral service at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2021. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Any donations are appreciated to Whitley’s Funeral Home for Jamin Funeral expenses and/or his 2 year old son, Levi Daniel Hodge.
