James Reid Woodall

James Reid Woodall, 18 years old, passed away on May 6, 2022.  James was born on August 26, 2003 in Concord, NC to Melissa Couch and Joseph Woodall.

James attended South Rowan High School.  He loved to cook and was working as a line cook in various restaurants.  He loved to play guitar, wood carving, hiking, camping and just being outdoors.  James also was aspiring to be a Rap musician. 

James was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Tharin Couch.  Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Melissa Couch; his father Joseph Woodall; his step- father, James Strickland, Jr.; his sister, Sydney Lyon; his step-brother, James Strickland, III; his step-sisters, Jenny and Janet Strickland; his maternal grandmother, Janie Couch; his step -grandfather, Gregory Cook and his wife Marion; his aunt, Shannon Caylor and her husband Ben and his cousins, Riley Jordan, Tharin Chase Jordan, Colton Jordan, and Talon Jordan. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15th from 2-4pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4pm in the Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of James to Fair Play Camp School, 347 Wilderness Trail, Westminster, SC 29693.
