James Anderson Obituary

James Warren Anderson, 52 of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Atrium Health Northeast Medical Center. Death was unexpected.

James was born April 29, 1970 in Iredell County NC a son of Linda Elaine Chavis of Kannapolis and the late James Samuel Anderson.

He was a 1989 graduate of South Rowan High School. He installed windows and siding for construction companies. He was a veteran serving in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed building train sets and watching “Moonshiners” on TV.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Family members left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include one daughter, Savannah Grace Anderson of McKinney, Tx., two step-daughters, Rachel Rhoad of McKinney, Tx. And Sydney Brown of Tyler, Tx.

He is also survived by one sister, Linda Anderson (Donald Starnes) of Kannapolis, a niece, Jennifer Nichole Wilson of Rockwell and nephew Jeffrey J. Wilson serving in the Armed Forces in South Korea.

The family request that any donations be sent to Whitley’s Funeral Home to cover funeral expenses.
