Jacqueline “Jackie” Ellsbeth Sluder Arbonies, 91, of Kannapolis, NC formerly of Winnemucca, NV, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 26, 2022. Jacqueline was born on March 25, 1931 in Oklahoma to the late James Edward and Stella Elizabeth Dermid Sluder.

Jacqueline worked for Kracaw Potato Farms for 20+ years before retiring. She was a Sunday School teacher for 30 + years.

Jacqueline was predeceased in death by her husband, John Harvey Arbonies; her son, Virgil Thomas Arbonies and her grandson, Joshua Wayne Arbonies. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beth Lane and her husband Mike; her sons, James Arbonies and his wife Dawn and Rod Arbonies; her grandchildren, Helen Lane Hathcock, Michael K. Lane, II and his wife Darla, John Harlow Lane and his wife Crystal, Stephanie Lane Washburn and her husband Brett, Nicole “Nikki” Ella Arbonies and Angela “Angie” Arbonies and her great grandchildren, Madison “Madi”, Peter, Phoebe, Lily and Kaitlin.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jackie’s memory to the American Heart Association.
