Howard George Reeder

Howard George Reeder, 68, of Salisbury passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital. Born February 25, 1953 in Hawaii, he was the son of the late Edwin Davis and Alfretta Morris Davis Reeder.

Howard enjoyed golfing, watching history movies, and planting flowers.

Howard is survived by his loving wife Patricia Lemmings Reeder; three daughters Amber Reeder of Kannapolis, Brianna Reeder of Charlotte, and Heather Reeder of Charleston, SC; two sons, John Reeder of Charleston, SC and Joshua Lemmings of China Grove; seven grandchildren, Kasey, Alicia, Kurt, Hutson, Olivia, Oliver, and Bryson; a brother, Kevin Reeder of Goose Creek, SC; and sister, Glenda Dame and husband Greg of Charleston, SC; and step-father Glenn Reeder.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

A celebration of Howard’s life will be held 7:00 pm Friday, August 6, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home, Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -7:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
